How to Choose the Right Decals for Your Fork and Rims
Share
Fork and rim decals change from model to model and often from one model year to the next. Before you order, take two minutes to identify exactly what you have. This guide shows you how.
Fork decals: find your model
1. Read the model name on the fork
The model name is printed on the lowers: Fox 32, 34, 36, 38 or 40; RockShox SID, Pike, Lyrik, Zeb, Reba, Recon and so on. If the old decals are already gone, look for the serial number or model code on the fork and check it with the manufacturer's online product lookup.
2. Check the stanchion diameter
With Fox forks, the model number is the stanchion diameter in millimetres: a Fox 36 has 36 mm stanchions, a Fox 38 has 38 mm. Measuring them with a caliper confirms the model even without decals.
3. Identify the version
Fox forks come in different trim levels such as Factory, Performance Elite, Performance and Rhythm, and RockShox in Select, Select+ and Ultimate. Check which version is printed on your fork and choose the product with the same version in its title.
4. Find the model year
Decal designs change over the years. Compare your fork with our product photos and choose the set whose layout matches yours. If you bought the bike new, the bike's model year is usually a good guide.
5. Check wheel size and e-bike version
Make sure the wheel size (27.5" or 29") and, where shown, the e-bike version in the product title match your fork.

Rim decals: find your wheel
1. Read brand and model on the rim
The wheel model is printed on the rim, for example Zipp 303, 404 or 454 NSW, DT Swiss ARC 1100 or Newmen Streem.
2. Measure the rim depth
Many wheel models come in several rim depths. Measure from the outer edge of the rim (where the tyre sits) to the inner edge (where the spokes enter) and compare it with the depth in the product title, for example 50 mm or 58 mm.
3. Check the model year
Wheel manufacturers also update their graphics. Compare your rim with our product photos.
4. Check what is included
Before ordering, read the product description to see exactly what the set includes.
